A Bit about the Coalition

The California Hydrogen Coalition is dedicated to enabling California’s transition to zero emission vehicles by expanding the availability of reliable, convenient and affordable hydrogen fueling.

Goals

The California Hydrogen Coalition is working towards building a statewide fueling network of 1,000 hydrogen stations covering 94% of the state and 97% of disadvantaged communities.

California can create a pathway to achieve hydrogen fuel network self-sufficiency with minimal investment and unlocking millions in private capital - saving taxpayers millions.

Our Successes

  • Secured a minimum annual expenditure for hydrogen stations in California's Clean Transportation Plan

  • Expedited permitting for California's Hydrogen Hub

  • Successfully developed the light-medium duty and heavy-duty hydrogen refueling infrastructure credit in the updated Low-Carbon Fuel Standard
